From Good to Wise ©
Over the years, Blue Gill has studied and adapted wisdom from the work of many gifted
scholars. At Blue Gill we have used the wisdom of Ichak Adizes’ Theory of Corporate
Lifecycles, Michael Gerber’s The E Myth and Jim Collins’ Good to Great and Built
to Last. What consultant has not marveled at the simplicity and depth of Stephen
Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Kozes and Posner’s The Leadership
We have developed a strong cadre of stories around such almost mythical giants
as Genghis Khan, Marco Polo, Mohandas Ghandi, Eleanor Roosevelt and Mother Teresa,
to name a few. We have developed stories to enhance our teaching to create added
retention of new thinking.
As years go by and we observed leaders who are seeking to move their organizations
to higher ground, we began to see a hybrid of what we have learned. Our focus changed
to how to turn a good organization into a wise organization. That is, how

Supporting Beliefs – Honesty, Openness, Creativity,

Mission: Our mission is to first understand
the organization’s needs through a collaborative process and then develop a customized
solution to meet the objectives, all with a measurable return on investment.
That is what we do.
We approach an organization with a flexible, collaborative approach to give the
company a chance to identify that “good thinking” and then begin to help customize
a process to institutionalize the “wisdom” of the organization through training,
coaching and other customized solutions. We teach, we provide coaching, observational
consulting or just exchange ideas when owners and managers face that “entrepreneurial
terror” INC magazine described back in 1992. Blue Gill establishes an Outside Board
of Advisers for many of our clients. We have a proven system to develop a useful
board to help support the President while they move through change. We offer some
good ways to break out of the pack. As a Certified Behavioral Analyst, Values Analyst
and Certified DNA and Tri-Metrix Analyst, Antonette Lucente, President of Blue Gill,
may offer behavioral assessments. If the situation presents itself, we may utilize
a 360 Analysis or a Team Assessment, Leadership Assessment, Communication Survey
or other tools. We stand behind our work and identify upfront measurable to document
the progress throughout the journey. Best of all, our customized solutions can improve
your bottom line. And that’s no fish story.
